I caught this romantic moment while I was cruising along the Antarctic Peninsula at midnight in the summertime. The twilight traveled through the valley and shone on the water and turquoise blue iceberg, transforming the freezing cold seashore into a dreamland that affected me emotionally.

This scenery reminds me of the Chinese ink paintings that I used to do in my 20s. With the thickness of oil media, it was very satisfying to "sculpture" this iceberg and also convey the cold yet poetic mist in the backdrop at the same time.
