E1: Heavenly Sound

This is my first painting in the Elysium collection. It is an expression of my imagination of heaven on earth: a sheer bliss of all senses from visual beauty, soothing sound, sweet aroma, and a gentle touch of breeze in mountains or mist under waterfalls. 

I was very fortunate to travel to some of the most heavenly places on earth. Maybe those sights and sounds have been engraved in my heart. I could just paint from my subconscious mind. In fact, I have never felt so free and overjoyed with my brush when I painted this piece.

Spring has just arrived in this valley. The waterfall's roaring spring water is plunging over the heart-stopping cliff and generating a waving veil of cool mist in the valley. The vertical lines under the clouds next to the waterfall are designed to extend the energetic movement of the water flows. 

Pink and white plum blossoms are at their best display. When the mountain breeze gently passes through the valley, you can smell the fragrant plum blossoms and see them falling like spring rain, near and far, in the babbling stream.
