For this work I took a different stylistic approach, almost like Chinese calligraphy.

I felt so free and expressive while painting in just a few big strokes. Such a striking pattern and coloration can only be precisely conveyed by simplest strokes and accurate shadows. Less is more. Simplicity is what I tried to achieve on this painting.

It couldn't be a more perfect sunset to illuminate the romantic scene of these two lovers bowing their heads to form a love-heart . Seeing their courtship in person, I was truly in awe of the beautiful streamline of their bodies and their pure happiness and devotion to each other.
